Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Clinical Support II at our Sharon Hill location (Delaware County, PA). The role supports operational and clinical programming with a small caseload and provides approximately 10 billable hours of individual or family therapy each week under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.

Earn $29.36/hr. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology with at least one year of clinical internship and two years of direct clinical experience,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field with at least 1 year of clinical internship and 2 years of direct clinical experience.
• Experience in outpatient or community-based behavioral health settings and ability to support program quality, clinical operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong clinical documentation, organization, data management, and communication skills; knowledge of behavioral health regulations, treatment planning, and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Manage required clinical documentation and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate client-to-therapist assignments and support billing functions.
• Assist with Medicare audits, audits for licensing reviews, and program data analysis.

Position Details

The Clinical Support II, under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, supports operational and clinical programming and regulatory compliance while maintaining a small caseload and providing approximately 10 billable hours of individual or family therapy each week.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing required clinical documentation
• Coordinating client-to-therapist assignments
• Supporting billing and business office functions
• Facilitating new hire onboarding, credentialing, and training activities
• Conducting Medicare Incident-to audits and managing related bad debt processes
• Assisting with treatment plans for medication-only clients
• Collecting and analyzing program data
• Supporting preparation for audits and licensing reviews
• Ensuring adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
• The Clinical Support II also performs other duties as assigned to support efficient program operations and high-quality service delivery

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A master's degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field, along with at least one year of clinical internship and 2 years of direct clinical experience.
• Experience in outpatient or community-based behavioral health settings and the ability to support program quality, clinical operations, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a small therapy caseload is required.
• Must demonstrate strong clinical documentation, organization, data management, and communication skills, as well as knowledge of behavioral health regulations, treatment planning, electronic health records, and compliance standards.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams, maintain confidentiality, and work independently while supporting high-quality client care and program operations.
