Job summary

DESC in Seattle seeks a Clinical Support Specialist to join an integrated care team providing case management and mental health services to tenants. You will collaborate with DESC case managers, residential staff, and outside providers to coordinate clinical care and outreach.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed strategies and education to support tenants’ lease success. The position requires a WA AAC license (or ability to obtain soon after hire) and clinical experience with homeless adults

Qualifications

• AAC license in WA or eligibility
• Experience with homeless adults with complex needs
• Knowledge of local homeless, mental health, and chemical dependency service systems
• Ability to communicate with diverse populations
• Ability to respond to crises using trauma-informed approaches
• Commitment to cooperative, respectful client care across programs

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical services for tenants with CSS team and external providers
• Develop and update Integrated Service Plans (ISP) with tenants and staff
• Monitor progress toward ISP goals and service delivery
• Provide case management and education to tenants for successful leaseholding
• Document interactions per agency guidelines
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
