The Clinical Specialist will serve as a field-based clinical and commercial partner, supporting the adoption and effective use of ArtiFascia® across priority neurosurgery accounts in the US.
You will create impact in this role by
- Educate surgeons, nurses, and OR staff through practical product training and clinical support.
- Partner with distributor representatives and commercial leaders to support account growth and product adoption.
- Represent Nurami Medical at professional meetings, training sessions, and customer-facing events.
- Maintain strong clinical, product, and market knowledge to address customer needs and support internal teams.
Part-time 1099 independent contractor position, field-based, up to 50% capacity, with the potential to expand as business needs grow.
Responsibilities
- Build clients' technical understanding of ArtiFascia, Nurami's dural repair graft for cranial and spinal neurosurgery, through regular hands-on training with surgeons, OR staff, and nursing teams.
- Partner with distributor reps and area/regional managers to execute account strategies and drive ArtiFascia® adoption.
- Design and lead clinical training programs for priority and KOL accounts to deepen product knowledge and support growth objectives.
- Deliver sales presentations and client training sessions, supporting distributor reps and fellow territory managers as needed.
- Represent Nurami Medical at conferences and professional meetings, including CNS, AANS, and regional neurosurgical societies to promote ArtiFascia® within specialized associations.
- Guide clients through the VAC/contractual approval process and support RFP and GPO submissions (e.g., Premier).
- Act as a clinical resource for the Marketing team during product development and launches.
- Maintain a high level of clinical, market, and product knowledge.
- Operate within defined budgets and in line with company policy.
- Complete administrative tasks: CRM updates, KOL tracker maintenance, and expense reporting — accurately and on time.
- Take part in special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Relevant undergraduate degree. RN or LPN designation desired, or equivalent healthcare practitioner or industry experience.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role or working inside hospitals.
- Proven track record of hospital-based sales success, ideally within neurosurgery or surgical device markets.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple HCP relationships across specialties, including nursing, surgeons, and other OR staff.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute to a high-performing team.
- Strong clinical knowledge of neurosurgery field, specifically cranial procedures.
- Willingness to collaborate with marketing to keep competitor insights and the competitive database current.
- This is field-based role requiring roughly 80% travel. Travel will be planned as far in advance as possible but may include time away from home, including overnight trips for out-of-territory meetings and events.
