Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the implementation of the delivery of care. It also involves providing individualized patient care to promote health restoration and achieve patient health goals. Responsibilities include:

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform and document vital signs, health screenings, and other duties within scope of practice.
2. Manage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and communicate lab results and referrals.
3. Assist with faxing records, documenting outcomes, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
4. Conduct blood and urine collections and waived lab testing independently and accurately.
5. Support lab procedures, tests, and processes within scope of practice.
6. Assist in training new staff as needed.
7. Maintain and organize electronic medical records and immunization data.
8. Ensure proper sterilization, disposal of biohazardous materials, and cleanliness of exam rooms and sterilization areas.
9. Notify staff of supplies and equipment needs, attend meetings, and participate in peer reviews.
10. Follow policies and behave professionally in all interactions.
