Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator to assist in controlling inventory supplies for Perioperative Services and related labs. You will support the Clinical Supply Chain Director and Managers, manage reorder points, quantities, and consignment processes, and work with vendors for loaner/consignment products.

The role includes supervision of Clinical Supply Chain activities, coordinating deliveries, and generating reports to improve department performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field.
• 1 year of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience.
• Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management operations.
• Strong skills related to the management of inventory control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate re-ordering, re-stocking, and reconciliation based on established par levels and consignment.
• Create implant use requisitions for operating/procedural rooms.
• Process various POs: Bill Only, Consignment, Manual/Rush, Special Requests, No Charge.
• Verify consignment replenishment requests based on on-hand inventory and OR usage.
• Create Patient Supply Requests for newly added implants (consigned & non-consigned).
• Maintain invoices, packing slips, and verify receipts on POs.
• Establish vendor appointments within Vendormate.
• Perform inventory functions with vendor reps: cycles, reconciliations, recalls, backorders.
• Identify backorders/recalls and coordinate substitutes; provide reports to leadership.
