Job summary

Lucas County is seeking a qualified professional to provide clinical and management supervision at the Youth Treatment Center. The role involves assessing youth, coordinating treatment plans, and leading a team of counselors and staff.

You will interview families, deliver individual and group counseling, and coordinate interventions with community partners, while maintaining strict documentation and reporting to ensure quality services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or a closely related field; LISW or LPCC licensure required.
• Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in mental health, corrections, or related fields.
• Must possess basic computer and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinical and management supervision of other primary counselors and the activities manager.
• Complete assessments of youth referred to the Youth Treatment Center and decide on placement.
• Interview and provide individual and family assessments.
• Provide individual, group and family counseling.
• Coordinate interventions and clinical consultations with community providers.
• Create and monitor individual and family treatment plans and participate in team meetings.
