Job summary

Straight and Narrow is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee counselors and ensure high-quality substance use treatment for clients across Paterson, Secaucus and Passaic areas. The role requires leadership to enforce personnel standards and supervise clinical staff within our residential, outpatient and community programs.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in a social service field and a Clinical Supervisor certification or equivalent licensure (LCADC/CCS/LPC/ACS/LCSW).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social service field (Social Work, Human Services or Psychology) with appropriate licensure.
• Two years minimum of experience in addictions treatment expected.
• Clinical Supervisor Certification or eligible credentials (LCADC/CCS/LPC/ACS/LCSW) and related CE credits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise counselors and monitor the quality of treatment across caseloads.
• Ensure supervisees meet all personnel requirements and program standards.
• Take on additional supervisory duties as needed by the leadership team.

Job Summary

A Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and monitoring the work of the counselors who report to himher and ensuring that the clients on their supervisees caseloads receive high quality substance abuse treatment services They are also responsible for ensuring that their supervisees meet all of Straight & Narrows personnel requirements and for assuming other responsibilities that may fall under the purview of the supervisory team

Qualifications

Masters degree in social service field Social Work Human Services or Psychology counseling with LCADC CCS LPC with an ACS LCSW with Clinical Supervisor Certification 20 Hour Continuing Education Credits of post graduate Clinical Supervision Course offered by either the National Association of Social Workers NASW or a sponsor approved by ASWB or an educational program approved by the Council on Social Work Education CSWE A minimum of two years experience in the field of addictions treatment is required
