Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a related field and one year of professional level substance abuse counseling experience, or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
• Licensure as LMHC/LCSW or CAP certification required; pass pre-employment drug screen; background checks.
• Valid Florida Driver License and motor vehicle record review; driving requirements; emergency essential position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of subordinate employees including determining work procedures and schedules, issuing instructions and assigning duties; reviews work and conducts performance evaluations.
• Develops programs of a clinical educational and rehabilitative nature; ensures documentation supports accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Maintains liaison with other components of the department and community; coordinates client records and ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Provides clinical supervision to MIH staff and guidance on MH referrals and program evaluations.
