Job summary

Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, CA seeks a Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor to oversee patient care across Med/Surg and Tele units. You will float between units as needed, perform assessments, coordinate treatments, and mentor staff under the Director/Manager, aligning with hospital policies and our core values.

Qualifications

  • Two years of recent department-specific RN experience.
  • Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
  • BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Float between Med/Surg/Tele Units as needed to cover patient care.
  • Provide assessments, treatment and care on assigned units.
  • Demonstrate leadership and ensure adherence to hospital policies and core values.
  • Support patient flow and teamwork under supervision of Director/Manager.

Responsibilities

This position does not have a home unit, you will be required to float between all Med/Surg/Tele Units at Inland Valley Hospital as needed.

Southwest HealthcareInland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month.The hospitalfeatures a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.

Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor

Reporting to the Director/Manager. Clinical Supervisors are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned unit(s). Clinical Supervisors will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital's Core Values and the hospitals mission statement. Clinical Supervisors will act as a resource and leader in the assigned unit(s). He or she will demonstrate critical thinking in the management of patient care and patient flow, possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of recent department specific experience required.
  • Charge nurse, supervisory expertise in department specific preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program
  • BSN preferred
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
  • Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • ACLS (AHA) certification.
  • PALS (AHA) where pediatric patients are cared for.

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
