Job summary

Southwest HealthcareInland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor to lead patient care on assigned units and uphold hospital policies.

Reporting to the Director/Manager, you will assess patient needs, coordinate treatment, mentor staff, and ensure safe, efficient flow. California RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2 years of dept-specific RN experience are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent department-specific RN experience.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• California RN license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications commonly expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care and collaborative care based on patient/family needs.
• Conduct assessments, treatment and care on assigned unit(s).
• Act as a resource and leader in the assigned unit(s).
• Demonstrate critical thinking in managing patient care and patient flow.

Southwest HealthcareInland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year, and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month.The hospitalfeatures a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.

Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor

Reporting to the Director/Manager. Clinical Supervisors are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment and care on assigned unit(s). Clinical Supervisors will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital's Core Values and the hospitals mission statement. Clinical Supervisors will act as a resource and leader in the assigned unit(s). He or she will demonstrate critical thinking in the management of patient care and patient flow, possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Qualifications

Two (2) years of recent department specific experience required.

Charge nurse, supervisory expertise in department specific preferred.

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program

BSN preferred

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse with current California RN license.

BLS (AHA) certification.

ACLS (AHA) certification.

PALS (AHA) where pediatric patients are cared for.

Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
