Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. in Morgantown, WV seeks a Full Time Counselor Supervisor to lead the counseling team and oversee interns.

You will ensure timely documentation, adherence to plans of care, and compliance with laws and funding expectations, while supervising staff and managing budget-related expenditures. The role requires licensure as LPC/LPCC/LCSW/ADC in West Virginia, supervision experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate ASI, PCPs and crisis plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold licensure as LPC/LPCC/LCSW/LICSW/ADC in West Virginia.
• Candidate should have supervision experience with Associate Level counselors and supervise development of ASI, PCPs, Crisis Plans, etc.
• Candidate should possess tracking skills using spreadsheets (Excel, pivot tables, etc.).
• Knowledge of quality assurance file reviews and peer audits, including CARF requirements.
• Preferred: credentialed with Alliance and Cardinal MCOs; authorization experience with MCOs.
• Candidate should have patience, empathy towards patients and ability to communicate positively with staff and patients.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and BayMark's policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.
• Identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
• Ensure compliance with all company and funding expectations.
• Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the company's budget.
• Travel as necessary.
• Other related duties as determined by Treatment Center Director.
