Responsibilities

• Supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and collaborates with the unit Director and/or Manager.
• Assumes administrative scope of the unit in the absence of the Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with regulations.
• Prepares, conducts, and oversees department orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
• Ensures quality of staff and functions during shifts.
• Assists in daily operations, supervising and evaluating personnel, and ensuring proper use of resources.
• Performs direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• RN-C certification within 2 years of hire preferred.
• PALS certification within 30 days of hire for units admitting pediatric patients.

The estimated total compensation range is $36.75 to $55.70 per hour, with the exact offer based on experience, education, and credentials.
