MedVet is a fast-growing Emergency and Specialty provider with practices nationwide. We help our patients receive advanced medical treatments and innovations, including chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, glaucoma treatments, physical rehabilitation, dermatology, and more. We are seeking collaborative and driven individuals to join our clinical team.

Schedule: Wednesday, Friday, every other weekend 7p-7:30a.

Our ER is dynamic and fast-paced. If you enjoy moving from one task to another, handling critical situations with ease, and working in a varied environment, this role is suitable for you.

Responsibilities include:

• Escalating issues to the Clinical Manager
• Functioning as a scheduled Clinical Services team member
• Collaborating with other departments regarding patient and client needs
• Prioritizing and organizing workflows for the shift
• Managing team members during the shift, including scheduling, responsibilities, and addressing issues
• Communicating schedule changes and performance concerns to the Clinical Manager
• Responding to client concerns and drug escalations
• Training and mentoring new team members
• Participating in on-call duties and administrative meetings

Qualifications:

• Veterinary experience required; surgery experience preferred
• Proficient in calculations related to drugs and infusions
• Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours when needed
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
