Job summary

CareStar, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for Behavioral Health covering Hamilton County, OH and surrounding areas.

The role oversees therapists, ensures treatment standards, and supports trauma-informed care in a remote-friendly, field-visit team setting. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree and independent licensure, with at least 3 years of clinical experience with youth and families; supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Independent licensure (e.g., LISW, LPCC, LMFT) required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with youth and families; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and home-based service delivery.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and waiver programs and community resources.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide consultation to therapists to ensure treatment standards and ethical guidelines.
• Review treatment plans and documentation for quality and compliance with Medicaid standards.
• Guide clinical interventions to align with evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.
• Provide training to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
• Deliver performance evaluations and constructive feedback.
• Foster mentorship relationships to build team competence.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure timely and effective care.
• Support crisis situations and high-risk cases with consultation and intervention.
• Facilitate team meetings and case conferences to promote collaboration.
