Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks a qualified supervisor to lead clinical staff and ensure high-quality treatment for individuals with substance use disorders.

The role includes developing training plans, supervising counselors, and maintaining compliance with licensing and organizational standards. The position requires licensure or certification in a related field and experience in health/human services, with mentorship and oversight responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Requires clinical license through the Department of State or PCB certification, or pursuing licensure with completion by 7/1/24 or within 3 years of hire.
• 3 years of clinical experience in a health/human service agency including 1 year with substance use disorders (Bachelor path) or 2 years including 1 year with SUD (Master path).
• Department-approved core curriculum training including clinical supervision skills must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor training plans for clinical staff.
• Implements treatment schedule to promote appropriate clinical interventions.
• Provide close supervision of counselors and therapists and ensure documentation in electronic health records.
• Intervene in difficult cases and approve referrals to specialized care.
• Supervise aftercare component of treatment.
• Attend and, when necessary, facilitate meetings and events.
• Maintain a small client caseload when necessary.
• Demonstrate adherence to Gaudenzia's standards and policies.
• Maintain professional certificates and credentials.
• Be responsible for the facility when the Director is unavailable.
