The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, plus a clinical license and 2 years of relevant experience with substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (clinical focus) and 2 years of clinical experience.
• Must hold a clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCADC) through the Department of State.
• Must complete department-approved core curriculum training including supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor training plans for clinical staff based on client needs.
• Implement treatment schedule to promote appropriate clinical interventions.
• Provide close supervision of counselors and therapists and ensure documentation compliance.
• Intervene in difficult cases and approve referrals to specialized care.
• Supervise aftercare component of treatment.
• Attend and facilitate meetings and events as needed.
• Maintain a small client caseload when necessary.
• Uphold Gaudenzia's Standards of Conduct and internal procedures.
• Maintain professional certificates and credentials.
