Job summary

A leading addiction treatment provider in Richmond, Virginia seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical services and ensure a safe therapeutic environment for residents. Clinical Supervisor – You play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment that promotes long‑term recovery. You will partner with the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Requirements

• LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist), or LSAT.
• Experience with substance use disorders.
• Experience with opioid treatment preferred.
• Ability to supervise licensed eligible employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and develops overall clinical services.
• Oversees counseling department staffing.
• Provides in‑service training to clinical staff on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Monitors clinical records regularly for quality and compliance with State, Federal, and any grant/funding source regulations. Conducts mock inspections.
• Responsible for maintaining CSAC accreditation status for all clinical aspects of care.
• Manages a caseload and fills in for absent counselors as needed.
