Job summary

Bristol Hospice - Blue Bell LLC seeks a Clinical Supervisor to ensure high-quality hospice care and supervise clinical staff in the Plymouth Meeting area. You will coordinate case referrals, oversee patient plans, and collaborate with Medical Directors to align services with patient goals.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of hospice philosophy, focusing on quality and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a registered nurse license in good standing.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in hospice/home care.
• Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive case referrals and review patient information to determine needs.
• Assign hospice personnel to referrals and coordinate schedules.
• Consult with Medical Director and Attending Physician on eligibility for services.
• Conduct home visits, review patient records and clinical progress, and supervise care delivery.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff and ongoing education programs.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities (QAPI).
