Job summary

Bristol Hospice Hawaii in Honolulu seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee care delivery and supervise clinical staff in home hospice settings. The role requires a valid RN license, hospice/home care supervisory experience, CPR certification, and excellent verbal and written communication.

You will coordinate referrals, assign staff, consult with the Medical Director, review cases, support staff training, participate in QAPI activities, and contribute to quality improvement across the

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in good standing.
• Hospice/home care management or supervisory experience required (2+ years).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding hospice philosophy and death and dying issues.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals and assess patient needs during home visits.
• Assign hospice personnel to cases as needed.
• Consult with Medical Director and Attending Physician on eligibility for services.
• Review cases via home visits, records, and clinician services.
• Guide clinicians to improve quality of home care delivery.
• Provide support during operating hours for clinicians as needed.
• Conduct clinical record reviews and report findings to the Clinical Director.
• Assist in screening and interviewing new employees.
• Assist in orientation and ongoing education programs.
• Contribute to policy development and organizational goals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives under QAPI.
