Job summary

Bristol Hospice LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee care delivery and supervise clinical personnel, ensuring compassionate and dignified hospice services for patients and families.

Responsibilities include reviewing referrals, assigning staff, coordinating with the Medical Director, conducting home visits, guiding clinicians, and supporting staff development while maintaining QAPI standards.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • Two years of management or supervisory experience in hospice/home care.
  • Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Receive case referrals and review patient information related to hospice/home care needs.
  • Assign appropriate hospice personnel to referral case as needed.
  • Confer with Medical Director and Attending Physician regarding eligibility for services.
  • Review and evaluate cases through home visits, records review, and clinician services.
  • Assist in screening and interviewing new employees and orienting them as needed.
  • Support the Director of Patient Care Services in planning, implementation and education programs.
  • Assist in policy development and compliance with the QAPI program.
