Job summary

Marquette University is seeking a Clinical Supervision Specialist for the On Your Marq program. The role supervises 14+ clinical graduate interns and non-clinical staff, manages program operations, and supports recruitment and orientation.

Counseling for up to 5 participants is provided as needed. The individual will oversee budgeting, service delivery, and staff development while acting as a liaison with the university community and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Clinical, Social, or equivalent required.
• LPC or CRC licensure preferred or required with minimum 5 years of licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of counseling or case management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presentations, emails, letters, and memos.
• Ability to work independently, think creatively, and support neurodiverse young adults and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly clinical supervision to interns (14+), including at least 1 hour individual and 2 hours group supervision per week.

Clinical Supervision Specialist – On Your Marq

Support, Advising, and Career Development Position Overview: The Clinical Supervision Specialist, On Your Marq is responsible for clinical supervision of 14+ clinical mental‑health graduate‑level interns and supervision of non‑clinical graduate students, a social‑emotional support coach, and other staff. The role also manages daily program operations, provides counseling for up to 5 program participants, supports budget management, oversees service delivery, and assists with program recruitment, applicant review, and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly clinical supervision to 14+ clinical mental‑health graduate‑level interns, including a minimum of one hour of individual supervision and two hours of group supervision per week.
• Oversee intern personnel matters: hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, training, and development.
• Supervise non‑clinical graduate students and professional staff, including hiring, performance management, staff development, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with new employee orientation and conduct regular performance assessments, providing feedback and facilitating ongoing staff development opportunities.
• Manage daily activities to align with strategic goals and deliver high‑quality services.
• Oversee staff workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement actionable plans to support program effectiveness and growth.
• Provide counseling services for up to 5 program students as needed, including weekly meetings, communication with families, faculty, and campus support offices.
• Assist the program director with office management, recruitment strategy development, and programmatic growth initiatives.
• Administer the budget, including forecasting student service fees against necessary expenses.
• Coordinate service delivery for enrolled and prospective students through written, electronic, and telephone communication.
• Drive innovation within the program by developing and implementing workshops, seminars, and student experiences that enhance engagement.
• Act as a liaison between the On Your Marq program and the Marquette University community, prospective students and their families, local schools, and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Clinical, Social or equivalent.
• LPC or CRC licensed for a minimum of 5 years.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing counseling or case management services.
• Excellent communication skills (grammar, vocabulary) for presentations, telephone, email, letters, and memos.
• Effective problem‑solving and information‑gathering skills.
• Ability to function independently, be a creative thinker, and demonstrate strong compassion and support for neurodiverse young adults and their families.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in education or higher education.
• Experience in disability services.
