Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas seeks a Clinical Speech Pathologist to assess and treat patients with memory-related communication and swallowing disorders. You will perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and develop therapy plans to support diagnoses and family education.

The role typically runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities for part-time or PRN arrangements; shift details discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA preferred or required where applicable.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required or eligible.
• Completion of a nine-month Clinical Fellowship Year required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic speech‑pathology test procedures.
• Evaluate communication and swallowing function of patients.
• Interpret and report test results to facilitate medical diagnosis.
• Provide counseling and education about communication to patients and families.
• Determine therapeutic plans including frequency, focus, prognosis and duration.
• Select assistive speech devices to improve patient communication.
• Perform re‑evaluation to determine progress after therapy.
• Maintain records of all services and communicate results to referrals.
