Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital seeks a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and swallowing disorders. You will perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and design therapy plans in a Magnet Hospital environment.

Responsibilities include patient and family education, re-evaluation, and collaboration with a care team. This is a PRN/as-needed position with daytime hours, based at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• Completion of a nine-month Clinical Fellowship Year is required.
• CCC-SLP certification and Ohio licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic speech pathology test procedures and evaluate communication and swallowing functions.
• Interpret and report results to facilitate medical diagnosis and provide education to patients and families.
• Determine therapeutic plans including frequency of therapy and prognosis.
• Maintain records of all services and communicate recommendations to referral sources.
