Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas seeks a Clinical Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with memory-related communication and swallowing disorders. You will perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and develop individualized therapy plans.

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with options for PT/PRN; opportunities for growth in a renowned neuroscience program. The role emphasizes direct patient care, education for patients and families, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• State-licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA required or eligible.
• Completion of a nine-month Clinical Fellowship Year.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic speech pathology test procedures.
• Evaluate communication and swallowing function of patients.
• Interpret and report test results to facilitate medical diagnosis.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families.
• Determine therapeutic plans including therapy frequency, focus, prognosis and duration.
• Select assistive speech devices to improve communication.
• Perform re-evaluation to determine progress after therapy.
• Maintain records of all services.
• Communicate results and recommendations to referral sources and outside agencies.
• Assist with planning, budget, service or project development, and equipment purchases.
