Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas seeks a Clinical Speech Pathologist to assess and treat speech and swallowing disorders. You will perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and develop therapy plans, communicating findings to patients and families.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities for part-time or PRN arrangements discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Hold or be eligible for ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic speech pathology test procedures.
• Evaluate communication and swallowing function of patients.
• Interpret and report test results to assist diagnosis.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families.
• Determine therapy plans: frequency, focus, prognosis, and duration.
• Select assistive speech devices to improve communication.
• Re-evaluate progress after therapy.
• Maintain records of all services.
• Communicate results to referral sources and outside agencies.
• Assist with planning, budgeting, and equipment purchases.
