Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and rehabilitate patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will document findings, progress and provide guidance to students and staff, supporting program development and clinical leadership.

The role requires a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure, ASHA certification, and BLS, with at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Texas license to practice Speech/Language Pathology, ASHA certification, BLS certification.
• Experience: at least two years of experience in the field.
• Physical: ability to lift up to 30 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, squatting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluation of patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and goals based on evaluations.
• Mentor and supervise students and interns; support Level III clinicians and leadership.
• Document findings and progress in medical records and communicate with patients and caregivers.
