Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in SLP and state licensure.
• Licensed SLP in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral.
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans.
• Treat patients per physician treatment plan.
• Supervise CFY/SLP assistants in patient care.
• Record evaluations and progress notes.
• Instruct families and nursing staff for discharge training.
• Participate in care conferences and staff training.
• Ensure compliance with state practice act.
