Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Ohio licensure or eligibility.
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
• Experience with pediatric and/or adult language disorders.
• Experience in evaluation and treatment of dysphagia.
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Experience in acute care, inpatient, or outpatient hospital settings preferred.
• Commitment to culturally responsive care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across patient populations.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Document clinical findings and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and strategies.
• Participate in discharge planning and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain regulatory and professional standards and pursue ongoing development.
