Job summary

• 1 Year Related Position Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from all age groups with minimal patient impact.
• Process and allocate laboratory specimens and orders from all sources.
• Verify proper patient and specimen identification, and appropriateness of specimen and orders.
• Organize laboratory workflow and prioritize processing and distribution of specimens.
• Utilize equipment, instruments, and computer systems to test requests, accession, label and deliver specimens to the correct laboratory sections.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control procedures on equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
