Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. is actively seeking a Clinical Specialist to proctor CVAC procedures and train surgical teams in Pleasanton, CA. This role covers territory assignments and requires close collaboration with the Regional Clinical Manager to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has hands-on clinical experience (scrub, RN/BSN, X-ray, or laser tech) and willingness to travel as needed. Competitive compensation includes base salary, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in operating room or perioperative care.
• Adept at assisting surgical teams during procedures.
• Willing to travel as needed and adapt to startup pace.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and comply with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage as assigned.
• Train the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes and support cases during training.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices.
• Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational resource.
• Demonstrate appropriate interactions with hospital staff and service providers.
• Maintain and prepare equipment and kits for surgery; perform QC checks.
