Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist to proctor CVAC procedures and train the surgical team on device use and instrument preparation. You will cover cases, support physicians, and manage inventory and administrative duties within the territory.

The role involves traveling as needed, staying current with perioperative practices, and collaborating with the Regional Clinical Manager to ensure excellent patient outcomes in a fast-growing medical device company.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in surgical settings such as scrub tech, X-ray tech, RN/BSN or laser tech.
• Willingness to travel within territory and beyond as needed.
• Experience supporting surgical procedures and training teams.
• Familiarity with perioperative practices and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage as assigned and support the surgeon intraoperatively.
• Train surgical teams on instrument prep and case protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain equipment, kits, and inventory, including quality control checks and reconciliation of usage.
