Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist to proctor CVAC procedures, train surgical teams, and provide clinical product support. This remote role covers the USA, with on-site travel to assigned territories as needed.

You will manage instrument prep, learn perioperative practices, and ensure equipment is ready for procedures. The role demands clinical experience (RN/BSN or surgical tech), travel willingness, and strong collaboration with surgeons and staff to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience such as Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN or BSN, Laser Tech.
• Ability to train surgical teams on instrument prep and perioperative practice.
• Travel up to 90% and cover multiple territories as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage as assigned.
• Train surgical team for good patient outcomes and support cases during training.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of perioperative technology and hospital policies.
• Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational resource.
• Maintain equipment and kits, including QC audits.
• Troubleshoot equipment per standard procedures.
• Provide intra-operative clinical product support.
