Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist I, CPT in Long Island, NY. You will provide technical clinical expertise to support the sales process and collaborate with Territory Managers to grow through education and case support.

Ideal candidates have a biomedical engineering background, 1–2 years in a clinical setting, and strong communication skills to educate clinicians on Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years’ work experience, clinical setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to educate on data.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, technical, and programming support for 1–2 Territory Managers.
• Assist with after-hours call support and activities.
• Build trust and rapport with customers across accounts.
• Demonstrate complex programming and case support.
• Travel up to 25% within the region as needed.
• Deliver training and education on Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
