Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a qualified Social Worker to provide clinically related social services to support residents and their families in a long-term care setting. You will participate in the admission process with the Administrator and Director of Nursing and assess psychosocial needs to deliver individualized support.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in social services (Master's preferred), at least two years in long-term care, and is licensed as an LCSW or LCSW-C

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Must be an LCSW or LCSW-C if employed in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically related social services to support residents and families.
• Participate in admission process with Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Assess residents’ psychosocial needs and deliver individualized support to enhance quality of life.
