Job summary

UCSF is seeking a Clinical Social Worker I/II to join the Citywide Stabilization Team within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The role focuses on psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and intensive case management for adults with severe mental illness, often dually diagnosed and unhoused.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology or related field from an accredited university.
• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Science as ASW or IMFT for CSW I.
• Possession of licensure requirements for CSW II as determined by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Intensive Case Management for high-risk adults, linkage to appropriate care.
• CARE Court program involvement and provision of intensive case management during program duration.
• Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) engagement and treatment linkage when needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources; maintain client records per state requirements.
