Job summary

Massachusetts Department of Mental Health seeks a Clinical Social Worker (C) for Service Authorization and Intake at MMHC. Combines direct clinical services with supervision, contract oversight and program coordination.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work required.
• Licensure as LCSW or LICSW is required.
• Minimum two years of full‑time, or equivalent part‑time, clinical social work experience.

Responsibilities

• Contact clients within 48 hours to set up needs assessment.
• Read DMH application/file within 48 hours of receipt.
• Document all interactions in MHIS.
• Conduct needs and means assessments for MMHC clients.
• Provide clinical care coordination and risk mitigation.
• Supervise staff and trainees as assigned.
