Ahava Therapy Services is hiring a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist for Cordova Wellness & Rehab Center, a 242-bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term rehab, long-term care, and outpatient therapy services. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CFYs accepted for CFY completing candidates.
• Active SLP license in state of practice.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong observational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents per payer guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of swallowing, cognition, and language.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with functional goals.
• Document evaluations, daily treatment, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Revise treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and families to maximize function.
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and assist with discharge planning.
• Stay current through continuing education and in-service education.
• Adhere to professional, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Maintain productive, collaborative teamwork and clinical judgment.
