Job summary

Sleep Better Austin is seeking a Clinical Sleep Assistant to travel between our north offices and other locations in the Austin area. You will provide hands-on patient care, educate patients about sleep apnea, and support the clinical team across Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Temple.

The role requires travel, strong communication, and comfortable interaction with patients. Training is provided, with a focus on growing with a patient-centered dental sleep medicine practice on-site in Austin.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Dental assisting experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience taking impressions (PVS or digital) strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable with patient education and communication.
  • Ability to travel between locations (required) with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients on sleep apnea and its impact on overall health.
  • Review and explain treatment options, including oral appliance therapy.
  • Take accurate PVS and/or digital impressions (TRIOS 3Shape or iTero Scanner preferred).
  • Fit and adjust oral appliances.
  • Assist patients with financial arrangements and payment options.
  • Follow up with patients, internal team members, and referring physicians.
  • Support clinical and operational workflow across all locations.

Location: Austin, TX (Travel required across multiple locations)

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site, In Office

Compensation: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour

Position Overview

Requirements
