Job summary

Protouch Staffing in Austin, TX, is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner with sleep medicine experience for a full-time in-office and telemedicine role. You will perform direct patient care, order sleep studies, and manage treatment plans including PAP therapy and referrals.

The position offers growth as the practice expands its sleep services. The ideal candidate has an APRN license, board certification (FNP/AGNP), DEA registration, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Licensed APRN with active license to practice in TX.
• National board certification in family or adult-gerontology NP required.
• DEA registration active for prescribing controlled substances.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out new-patient consultations and follow-up visits, in person.
• Order and interpret home sleep tests and in-lab sleep studies, and review results with patients.
• Build and manage individual treatment plans, including PAP therapy, oral appliance referrals, CBT-I, medications, and surgical options.
• Monitor PAP compliance and assist patients with problems to stay on therapy.
• Explain treatment options clearly so patients can choose confidently.
• Write accurate EMR notes on time.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, DME partners, and referring providers.
• Support a positive, respectful patient experience at every visit.

Current services include new and established patient visits both telemedicine and in-office, a five-bed onsite AASM-accredited sleep lab, CPAP services and supplies, and home sleep testing. The provider will have three years of experience treating patients in a clinical setting. We are a stable practice positioned for growth in services and the volume of patients treated.

Schedule: Full-time (M-F)
