Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks an energetic leader to serve as Assistant Director of Clinical Simulation, a faculty‑administrative appointment. The role oversees operations, staffing, technology, and educational support to deliver innovative, evidence‑based simulation experiences for undergraduate and graduate nursing education across campuses.

Qualified candidates will hold a faculty appointment in the IRC-Clinical Series, Clinical Teaching Track, with CHSE

Qualifications

Earned doctorate in an appropriate field (nursing, education, or related).
Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) or eligible.
Minimum of two years’ experience managing simulation operations and supervising personnel.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership for the Clinical Simulation Program across multiple campuses.
Direct day-to-day operations of the program including scheduling, facilities, technology, and resources.
Develop standardized workflows, policies, and procedures for high-quality simulation services.
Monitor utilization and allocate resources; implement process improvements.
Collaborate with faculty to align simulation with curricular priorities.
