The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a Clinical Services Manager to supervise daily operations of the ICE | IMSL MS Clinics - Medical Specialties. The CSM oversees patient care and clinic workflows, coordinating with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires a BSN, RN licensure in Arkansas, and at least 5 years of nursing experience with 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with a Bachelor's in Nursing required, plus at least 5 years of experience in nursing and at least 3 of those years in a supervisory capacity.
• Valid License as a Registered Nurse by the State of Arkansas

Responsibilities

• Collects and documents assessment data from patients and/or others per UAMS standard.
• Develops patient’s Plan of Care per department/unit standards utilizing assessment data.
• Evaluates the progress of patients toward attainment of desired outcomes.
• Administers medication following department/unit standards and Nurse Practice Act.
• Verifies and evaluates care delivered to ensure it aligns with patient/family-centered care and regulatory requirements.
• Promotes evidence-based nursing practice and staff education.

Summary of Job Duties

The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily operations of the designated clinic/unit, including patient care and clinic/unit business processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with a Bachelor's in Nursing required, plus at least5 yearsof experience in nursingand at least 3 of those years ina supervisory capacity

• Verifies and evaluates care delivered to ensure it is consistent with patient and family centered care principles, practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supports the integration of current evidence into nursing practices.
• Promotes an environment conducive to positive educational experience for all students and staff.
• Provides effective patient/family education/discharge planning.
• Effectively collaborates and communicates with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Communicates care appropriately through documentation in the medical record.
• Reports variances in care/ systems/ processes through the appropriate means.
• Participates in recruitment/retention of staff.
• Facilitates development and implementation of nursing practice standards that are evidence-based and in compliance with ANA standards.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
