Qualifications

• 2+ years medical office or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• MA Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promptly rooms patients and records vital signs in EMR.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection when applicable.
• Take patient histories and assist with exams.
• Assist with minor procedures and instrument handling.
• Manage patient calls, scheduling, referrals, and billing inquiries.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
