Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Optum Infusion Pharmacy seeks a Clinical Sales Liaison RN to educate hospitals, coordinate home infusion services, and train patients and caregivers. You will work with case managers, discharge planners, and referral sources to ensure a smooth plan of care managed by the patient’s physician.

The role requires an active RN license, 2+ years IV-related clinical experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• 2+ years of IV-related clinical experience.
• 2+ years of experience using laptops/tablets and multitasking.
• Proven effective communication and teaching skills with patients, family members and staff.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Ability to travel within local territory up to 80%; minimal overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education and market services to hospital and referral sources.
• Assess and coordinate home infusion services with Case Managers and Discharge Planners.
• Train patients and caregivers on therapy, monitoring, and administration.
• Maintain and grow facility relationships and provide responsive service to accounts.
• Conduct in-services and coordinate with Regional Sales Director on presentations.
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and referral goals.
