Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• 2+ years of management or leadership in healthcare.
• 2+ years in risk management, quality improvement, health information management, healthcare administration, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day risk management operations, investigations, and safety event responses.
• Develop and administer facility-wide risk identification and reduction systems.
• Review data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead adverse event and sentinel event investigations and root cause analyses.
• Prepare reports on risk trends for senior leadership and committees.
• Educate staff and collaborate across departments on patient safety and risk issues.
• Assist with policy revisions to reduce recurrence of incidents.
