Job summary

UF Health in St. Johns, Florida seeks a Clinical Risk Manager to support risk management programs in compliance with Florida Administrative Code.

You will facilitate regulatory surveys, design corrective actions, investigate occurrences, perform root-cause analyses, and maintain the reporting system with related databases. The role collaborates with Patient Relations on investigations and helps identify liability exposures while supporting the self-insurance program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with risk management coursework or certification within 1 year.
• CPHRM or equivalent risk management credential preferred.
• Healthcare risk management experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of risk management processes.
• Facilitate regulatory and accrediting surveys and prepare action plans.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain occurrence reporting systems and supporting databases.
• Coordinate with Patient Relations on complaints and grievances investigations.
• Identify liability exposures and support self-insurance program activities.
