Job summary

CarePlus NJ, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Response Team (CRT) Clinician to provide behavioral health treatment and case management within School Based Services across multiple school districts in Rochelle Park.

The role supports children, adolescents, and families through individual, group, and family interventions focused on mental health and substance use concerns. The CRT Clinician collaborates with licensed professionals in various settings to deliver timely services, develop care plans, and

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited college and university.
  • Must have Valid NJ licensure to practice clinical therapy (i.e., LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW) and/or SUD treatment services (LCSW).
  • Documented knowledge of at least 1-2 years of clinical experience in the mental health field and experience in behavioral health and SUD settings.
  • Experience providing clinical services to adults, children/adolescents and groups with serious and persistent mental illness or substance use.
  • Must have prior experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting.
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance for primary drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical therapy services through in-person and telehealth sessions, delivering individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct assessments and diagnoses by evaluating clients' mental health, emotional well-being, behavioral concerns, and treatment needs, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools and criteria.
  • Develop and manage treatment plans by creating individualized care plans, monitoring client progress, and adjusting interventions to meet evolving needs and goals.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and crisis support using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches, while providing crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary.
  • Collaborate and educate by working with multidisciplinary teams, community resources, clients, and families to coordinate care and provide psychoeducation on mental health, coping skills, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain professional standards through accurate documentation, compliance with ethical and licensing requirements, ongoing professional development, and advocacy for client well-being and access to care.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Response Team (CRT) Clinician provides behavioral health treatment, case management, and clinical support to students and families within School Based Services programs, including School Contracts and the School Based Access Center. This role supports children, adolescents, and families through individual, group, and family interventions, with a focus on mental health and substance use concerns. CRT Clinicians work across multiple school, community, and office-based settings to address service gaps, ensure continuity of care, and enhance client outcomes. As part of a team of licensed mental health professionals, the clinician delivers timely, responsive services that support students' behavioral health needs while maintaining uninterrupted program operations.

What You Will Do:
