Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse to coordinate patient care across units using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. The CRN will support diverse teams, prioritise care, and contribute to evidence-based practice.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, a current New Jersey RN license, and at least 3 years in critical care or emergency department settings, plus telemetry and life-support certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and NJ RN license.
• Telemetry certification and life support certifications required or preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and collaboration skills.
• Ability to apply nursing process to patient care and prioritise effectively.

The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care for patients he/she is called to care for.

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current registered nurse license in the State of New Jersey
2. Minimum of 3 years of critical care or emergency department nursing experience
3. Telemetry certification, Titratable and Non-titratable drugs
4. Exhibits self-direction and use of a broad knowledge base, critical thinking, delegation, problem solving skills and protocol development
5. Exceptional verbal and non-verbal, written and listening skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and function in a collaborative role
6. Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex situations simultaneously
7. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Licenses and Certifications Required:

1. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
2. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification
3. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
