Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis in St. Louis, MO seeks a senior clinical research program manager to lead planning, conduct and evaluation of clinical research.

You will provide leadership to the research program and teams, ensure ethical practices, and manage budgetary reporting and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with nurses, investigators and staff to maintain continuity of care and subject protection, while designing CRFs and tracking logs to support multi-center trials and SOP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support - American Red Cross
• Clinical Or Research experience: 4 Years, Supervisory: 1 Year
• Driver's License not required

Responsibilities

• Screens and recruits new and existing participants directly or by telephone contact.
• Reads and understands all protocols to co-enroll participants or refer to study coordinators.
• Manages patient care and follow-up for patients on protocols.
• Coordinates responses to conflicts with physician, including scheduling extra visits or lab tests.
• Ensures case report forms are properly filled out and complete; tracks missing data.
• Documents participants' health records and study results.
• Assists in education and training of new staff involved in studies.
• Provides input for research designs and protocols.
• Designs case report forms and tracking logs for studies.
• Develops a monthly research activity calendar for scheduling participant testing.
• Coordinates tests/procedures with the research team to perform studies.
• Supervises research administration team (hiring, termination, scheduling).
