Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Center's clinical research portfolio. You will supervise Clinical Research Coordinators, coordinate study implementation, and ensure adherence to protocols, timelines, and data quality.

You will report to the Director, work with the Senior Program Manager, PIs, and the Registry Project Manager to translate strategic priorities into day-to-day operations in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, public health, health sciences, biological sciences.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in clinical research, research administration, or program management.
• Experience coordinating human subjects research and working with IRBs.
• Experience supervising or mentoring research staff.
• Proficiency with REDCap and Microsoft Office applications (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day implementation of the Center's active clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to study protocols, timelines, recruitment goals, and operational milestones.
• Coordinate study workflows including participant recruitment, scheduling, data collection, medical record acquisition, and study tracking.
• Develop and maintain systems to monitor study timelines, deliverables, and operational dependencies.
• Monitor operational performance and identify workflow barriers, implementing routine process improvements and escalating broader operational issues.
• Coordinate study meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and monitor completion of tasks.
• Support onboarding and operational training of research personnel on study procedures and Center SOPs.
• Ensure implementation of standardized operating procedures across research projects.
• Escalate strategic, scientific, financial, regulatory, or personnel issues requiring leadership decisions.
