Job summary

Fortrea in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Research Technician to join our clinical team on a full-time rotating shift. You will work in a laboratory/clinical setting supporting healthy volunteers and ensuring protocol compliance.

The position requires phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, with EMT/CNA certifications preferred. Candidates with 1 year of related experience are encouraged to apply, as Fortrea supports growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required.
• 1 year of related clinical experience.
• EMT, CMA or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with healthy volunteer participants and learn to read protocols in a fast-paced team environment.
• Perform vital signs: blood pressure, venous blood collection, weight, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature.
• Prepare and record ECGs/Holters accurately.
• Collect and process biological samples per the protocol and ensure proper distribution.
• Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance.
• Assist in room and medical equipment preparation.
• Assist with screening procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe study environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
